Privacy

ClearSpent stores your account details, phone number, email verification status, budget settings, notification preferences, expenses, income, goals, recurring payments, loans, receipt paths, category limits, and notification-send history so the dashboard and email alerts can work online.

Your password is stored as a secure hash, not plain text. Activation and password reset links are stored as secure token hashes and expire automatically.

New accounts must verify their email address before logging in. This helps reduce spam registrations and confirms the account owner can receive important account emails.

Receipt images may be compressed before upload to reduce hosting storage. Admins can see account activity, user details, verification status, login/support information, and feature access settings for support, safety, spam prevention, and account management.

You can export your data or delete your financial data from the app settings.

If you enable email notifications, ClearSpent may email budget/category alerts, weekly summaries, and monthly reports to your registered email address.

ClearSpent is a personal budgeting tool. It is not financial advice. You are responsible for checking your own records and making money decisions.

Do not misuse the service, create spam accounts, use someone else's email address, or try to access another user's data.
